Lead AI Engineer

Role: Lead AI Engineer within Regeneron's Digital Transformation team, focusing on architecting and deploying enterprise-scale AI solutions to accelerate drug discovery, clinical research, and operational efficiencies. Responsibilities include designing end-to-end AI applications, developing autonomous agents using frameworks like LangChain and CrewAI, managing LLM platforms, and integrating AI models securely with enterprise data sources. The role also involves leading a team of engineers, establishing technical standards, and collaborating with business units, data scientists, and external vendors. Qualifications: 7–10 years in software and AI engineering, expert Python skills, hands-on experience with LLM frameworks, vector databases (Milvus preferred), and cloud services (AWS, Kubernetes). Certifications: AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty; AWS Solutions Architect – Professional and CKA are desirable. Preferred: experience in biotech, pharma, or healthcare sectors.
