Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys and paralegals across the Legal department on legal projects aligned with business needs and the co-opβs interests.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support ongoing matters and strategic initiatives.
- Assist with review and drafting of basic agreements.
- Support preparation and review of patent and trademark filings.
- Assist with review and preparation of distribution agreements and SEC submissions.
- Research an area of law relevant to the company and draft a comprehensive memorandum summarizing findings and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in life sciences (Chemistry, Biology, or related).
- Completed at least one year at an ABA-accredited law school at program start.
- Comfortable with major legal research tools.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Program Timeline:
- 6-month co-op: July 13, 2026 to December 18, 2026 (full-time, 40 hours/week).
- Hybrid role; expected to work on-site at a U.S. facility and attend in-person events from time to time.
