Laboratory Vendor Specialist, Clinical Operations

Role: Laboratory Vendor Specialist supporting Immunocore’s clinical trial sample and lab vendor management. Objectives: ensure quality, compliance, and efficiency of external laboratory services across Phase 1-3 trials. Responsibilities: oversee vendor selection, onboarding, and performance monitoring; support lab setup, document development, and sample logistics; manage vendor invoices and conduct quality/compliance assessments; contribute to process improvements and risk mitigation; coordinate audits and prepare study documentation; collaborate with clinical teams, external vendors, and management. Qualifications: 3+ years in laboratory operations within pharma/biotech; strong knowledge of GxP, FDA regulations, and sample management; proficient in MS Office and sponsor systems; excellent organizational and communication skills. Preferred: experience with risk management, process improvements, and sample oversight. High-Value: Biotech/pharma environment, clinical sample management, laboratory vendor oversight, GxP compliance, Phase 1-3 trials, cross-functional collaboration, office-based role with some travel. Reporting: interacts with Clinical Operations, Translational Medicine, Data Management, and senior management.
