Laboratory Technician I

Role: Laboratory Technician supporting regulated clinical laboratory testing in molecular biology (PCR) and mass spectrometry, with a focus on oncology diagnostics. Responsibilities: perform test realization per SOPs, ensure compliance with CAP/CLIA, NYS CLEP, GLP/GMP, ISO13485, FDA, and CE standards; maintain accurate data entry in LIMS; contribute to SOP updates, equipment maintenance, and audit readiness; support development projects and ensure proper documentation. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in laboratory science or equivalent experience; minimum 3 months’ experience in a high-complexity lab; proficiency in molecular biology techniques (PCR, nucleic acid isolation, sequencing); strong organizational and documentation skills; familiarity with lab safety and Microsoft Office. Preferred: experience working in regulated environments supporting diagnostic test development, oncology focus, and knowledge of applicable regulatory standards.
