Laboratory Supervisor - Stat Lab

Role: Laboratory Supervisor overseeing daily operations of a clinical testing lab in San Leandro, CA, primarily on 2nd shift. Responsibilities: supervise and mentor laboratory personnel, ensure accurate and timely testing, manage workflow, maintain quality and regulatory compliance (CLIA, CAP, CA standards), troubleshoot errors, implement process improvements, and perform bench work as needed. Requirements: Bachelor's in Chemical/Biological Science, Medical Technology or related field; 5+ years as a technologist/technician; CA State CLS license; 2+ years leadership experience. Preferred: prior Labcorp experience, ASCP or AMT certification. High-Value: clinical lab environment, regulatory compliance, team supervision, expertise in lab operations, proficiency with Laboratory Information Systems, strong communication and organizational skills. WorkSetup: 2nd shift (Nov-Jan), on-site in San Leandro; physical requirements include ability to pass color blindness test.
