Laboratory Specimen Processor

Role: Specimen Processor responsible for preparing, labeling, and routing laboratory specimens for analysis within a clinical lab setting. Objectives include ensuring specimen accuracy, proper storage, and timely processing to meet departmental productivity goals. Responsibilities encompass unpacking, data entry, shipping, and problem resolution of specimens, along with quality and safety adherence. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; preferred 3+ months experience in specimen processing or laboratory work; comfort with handling biological specimens; strong attention to detail and data entry skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
