Role: Laboratory Robotics Operator responsible for specimen processing and management in a clinical laboratory setting. Core responsibilities involve verifying specimen information, operating automated instrumentation, managing specimen storage and disposal, and maintaining compliance with safety protocols. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; preferred with 3+ months experience in specimen processing, laboratory work, or use of automated lab equipment. Skills include attention to detail, ability to handle biological specimens, basic computer and data entry proficiency, and strong communication. Experience with biological specimen handling, fast-paced production environments, and flexibility for overtime or shifts are advantageous. Special considerations include passing a color blindness test. Work setup: Onsite in Tampa, FL, with a Monday-Friday night shift (10:30pm–7:00am), including alternating weekends. The role emphasizes quality metrics, safety, and teamwork, supporting Labcorp's clinical diagnostic services in a high-volume lab environment.
