Lab Tech 1

Job Title: Lab Tech 1
Schedule: Tues–Fri 9:00pm–5:30am; Sat 7:00pm–3:30am

Responsibilities:
- Process and perform diagnostic tests on blood, urine, fecal, or histology samples using automated analyzers and microscopes.
- Set up and run lab tests; read and release results per ZRL SOPs.
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly analyzer maintenance.
- Accession samples and manage specimen storage/tracking; package/unpackage for shipments.
- Follow QC standards and EHS practices.
- Troubleshoot sample integrity issues and respond to customer concerns via Salesforce ticketing.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Handle and dispose of medical/biohazardous waste per regulations.
- Complete laboratory logs (maintenance, environmental, cleaning).
- Manage email correspondence professionally and promptly.
- Be a team player with a positive attitude.

Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (BS/BA preferred).
- 1+ years’ clinical laboratory experience.

Skills:
- Strong attention to detail; collaboration.
- Organizational and time management; excellent data entry.
- Strong written/oral communication; English fluency.
- Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
