Lab Supervisor

Role: Laboratory Supervisor overseeing daily operations in a clinical laboratory setting, ensuring accurate and timely test performance and reporting. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring staff, managing workflow, maintaining equipment and quality records, and adhering to regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP, state). Also involves process improvements, staff development, and administrative tasks like payroll and documentation. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, biological, or medical science; 5+ years of clinical lab experience; leadership experience preferred. Certifications such as ASCP or AMT are advantageous. High-value: high-volume clinical laboratory, emphasis on quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and team supervision. Work setup: Monday–Friday, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm with rotating weekends, including overnight shifts; physical and technical proficiency required; flexibility for overtime and shift adjustments.
