Role: Specimen Processor I in a clinical laboratory setting, responsible for preparing, handling, and processing biological specimens for testing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures. Responsibilities: unpacking, labeling, routing, and shipping specimens; data entry of patient information; resolving specimen issues; storing excess samples; meeting departmental productivity goals. Requirements: High School diploma or GED; preferred 1+ year experience in lab, accessioning, production, or warehouse environments; comfort with biological specimens; strong organizational, data entry, and attention to detail skills; ability to lift 40 lbs and pass colorblindness test.
