Lab Operations Manager- Process and Synthesis labs

Role: Lab Manager overseeing synthetic molecule laboratories at Lilly's new Medicine Foundry, focusing on process development, technology transfer, scale-up, and manufacturing support. Responsibilities include managing daily operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and laboratory readiness, leading equipment lifecycle management, inventory control, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborates with cross-functional teams such as process scientists, quality control, engineering, and supply chain. Requirements: Bachelor's in chemistry, biology, or related field; 5+ years in pharmaceutical or biotech labs with regulated environment experience; strong leadership, safety, and operational skills. Preferred: experience with synthetic process scale-up, GMP/GLP, digital lab systems, project management. High-value: supportive of synthetic molecule projects, GMP compliance, technology transfer, process scale-up, laboratory operations, Indianapolis or Lebanon, Indiana; on-site work with minimal travel (0-10%).
