Lab Manager – Analytical Laboratories

Role: Lab Manager of Analytical Laboratories at Lilly's Medicine Foundry, overseeing daily operations, safety, compliance, and performance of analytical labs supporting process development, characterization, technology transfer, and GMP testing. Responsibilities: lead lab readiness, resource planning, equipment lifecycle management, and continuous improvement; partner with cross-functional teams including Quality Control, Process Development, Manufacturing, and Engineering; ensure regulatory compliance, safety, and inspection readiness; drive digitalization and operational excellence initiatives. Requirements: bachelor's in chemistry, biology, or related field; 5+ years in pharmaceutical or biotech labs with regulated environment experience; strong knowledge of analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, LC-MS, spectroscopy); experience with equipment validation, digital lab systems, and regulatory standards. Preferred: familiarity with LIMS, ELN, CMMS; leadership in cross-functional settings; understanding of data integrity and quality systems. High-Value: biologics or small molecule development support, GMP compliance, lab automation, and process optimization. Location: Indianapolis or Lebanon, Indiana; on-site work with flexible support at Indianapolis through 2026-2029; minimal travel (~0-10%).
