Lab Manager – Analytical Laboratories

Role: Lab Manager overseeing analytical laboratories supporting process development, GMP testing, and manufacturing at Lilly Medicine Foundry. Objectives: ensure operational readiness, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement of lab functions. Responsibilities: lead daily operations, manage equipment lifecycle, develop resource plans, foster safety culture, and drive digitalization and operational excellence initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor's in chemistry, biology, or related field; 5+ years in regulated pharma or biotech labs managing operations; knowledge of analytical instruments (HPLC, MS, etc.), validation, LIMS, data integrity, and quality systems. Preferred: expertise in analytical instrumentation, equipment validation, and digital lab systems; strong cross-functional leadership. High-Value: focus on process development, GMP compliance, scalable operations, and advanced manufacturing support—within a growing, innovative facility supporting clinical trial materials. Location: initial at Indianapolis or Parkwood West, permanent in Lebanon, Indiana, with flexibility for onsite work and limited travel (~0–10%).
