Lab Manager

Role: Clinical Laboratory Manager overseeing daily technical and operational activities at Prisma Health Laurens County Hospital. Objectives include ensuring high-quality, compliant laboratory services, managing staff, and optimizing workflow. Responsibilities encompass staff supervision and training, regulatory compliance (CAP, CLIA, ISO), process development, and client issue resolution. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related science, 4+ years of clinical lab technologist experience, ASCP/AMT MT certification. Preferred: 3+ years supervisory experience managing multiple staff, including leaders; strong knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and state regulations; proficiency with Laboratory Information Systems. High-value: management of a clinical diagnostics lab in a hospital setting, with emphasis on regulatory adherence, staff development, and operational excellence. Work setup is on-site with flexible hours, generally Monday-Friday; physical ability to perform lab duties and pass a color blindness test is required.
