Lab Assistant- Microbiology

Role: Laboratory assistant supporting clinical lab operations in specimen handling and processing. Responsibilities: receive, sort, prepare, and document specimens; perform routine equipment maintenance; troubleshoot issues; replenish supplies; maintain safety and cleanliness; complete administrative tasks per SOPs. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; preferred 3+ months specimen processing or lab experience; comfort with biological specimens, accurate identification, data entry, and handling biological materials; strong attention to detail; ability to work independently and in a team; physical ability to perform the job; pass color blindness test; flexible for overtime or shift changes.
