Lab Assistant

Role: Lab Assistant responsible for specimen handling, processing, and administrative tasks in a clinical laboratory setting. Objectives: ensure accurate specimen receipt, preparation, and data entry to support diagnostic testing. Responsibilities: sort and prepare lab specimens, perform minor equipment maintenance, troubleshoot issues, replenish supplies, maintain safety and cleanliness, and follow SOPs. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; preferred experience includes prior Labcorp work, healthcare, manufacturing, or clinical laboratory settings; comfort with biological specimens, accurate identification, basic computer and data entry skills, and attention to detail.
