Lab Assistant

Role: Lab Assistant supporting clinical laboratory operations in Mobile, AL, focusing on specimen processing, preparation, and data entry. Responsibilities: receive, sort, and prepare specimens; perform minor instrumentation maintenance; troubleshoot specimen issues; replenish supplies; ensure safety and documentation compliance; maintain a clean environment. Requirements: high school diploma or GED; basic computer and data entry skills; ability to handle biological specimens; attention to detail; ability to work independently and in fast-paced settings; pass color blindness test; flexibility for overtime/shifts. Preferred: 3+ months experience in specimen processing or laboratory work. High-Value: specimen handling, clinical lab environment, potential exposure to biological materials, data management. Work setup: onsite in Mobile, AL, Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–3:00 pm, with possible overtime or shift adjustments.
