Role Summary
As a Manufacturing Lab Assistant, you will act as a key support person in multiple labs, leading preparation, processing, and finishing of materials for use in manufacturing products. This role supports manufacturing processes in Conjugation and Array teams to ensure quick product turnaround and customer satisfaction. This is a non-exempt position.
Responsibilities
- Perform filtering and aliquoting of conjugated antibodies inside a Laminar Hood
- Perform labelling of vials and prepare paperwork for inventory transfer
- Perform cleaning of lab space and lab equipment
- Prepare spin columns and microcentrifuge tubes for conjugate manufacturing
- Submit labware for cleaning and sterilization
- Assist with array processing, including cutting and stamping array membranes
- Track and maintain inventory of assay components and clean labware
- Scan, organize, and file batch records
- Order lab supplies and components
- General lab duties (recycling, in house supply acquisition, etc.)
- Work closely with individuals within your lab and cross-functional teams as needed
- Follow guidelines and comply with all safety, quality, and training procedures and regulations
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Required: High school diploma or GED
- Preferred: AA degree in biological sciences
- Preferred: Previous laboratory experience

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to independently prioritize tasks
- Sterile techniques
- Pipetting skills
- Flexibility and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow complex work instructions and priorities
- Capacity to work independently on routine assignments or projects and with a team
