Role Summary
Performs laboratory testing and generates results in accordance with good manufacturing practices, procedural requirements, and scientific principles. Interprets, reviews, verifies, approves, and releases data generated by others to determine conformance with product specifications. Maintains a safe work environment and proper laboratory records, and supports continual personal development. Works across multiple laboratory areas to perform trained techniques with minimal error and adapts to unforeseen obstacles.
Responsibilities
- Performs laboratory testing and generates results in accordance with good manufacturing practices, procedural requirements, and scientific principles.
- Interprets, reviews, verifies, approves, and releases data generated by others to determine conformance with product specifications.
- Maintains a safe work environment and adheres to good manufacturing practices with respect to procedural requirements and laboratory records.
- Maintains training certificates as needed for assigned tasks.
- Performs analytical or microbial test methods and data verification of lab results to support product and material release with minimal error.
- Interprets experimental data for conformance with product and material specifications.
- Initiates appropriate exception documents in accordance with procedural requirements.
- Accepts responsibility for acquiring knowledge and experience to support continual personal development.
- Can work in multiple laboratory functional areas and perform a variety of techniques with minimal error, adapting to unforeseen obstacles.
- Manages time effectively to complete tasks and participates in team activities and decision making.
- Makes improvement suggestions based on scientific and GMP understanding.
- Collaborates with others to maintain a positive atmosphere and fosters positive working relationships across the organization.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelorโs Degree minimally required, Associateโs Degree with at least 2 years of lab experience, High School Diploma with at least 5 years of directly related lab experience.
- Required: Ability to effectively manage their own time to multi-task based upon their completed training matrix.
- Required: Accountable to supervisor and assigned teams to meet broader business objectives.
