General Summary:
The Kidney Territory Account Manager (KTAM) establishes and maintains relationships with HCPs, develops and executes a territory business plan, and communicates disease and product knowledge to nephrologists and specialty kidney clinics to improve patient care.

Key Duties And Responsibilities:
- Build meaningful relationships with nephrologists and related HCPs; serve as territory account manager for specialty kidney clinics
- Develop expertise in disease/product clinical attributes and patient unmet needs to educate HCPs on appropriate patient use
- Manage physician and territory/market dynamics, stakeholder mapping, key decision-maker relationships, patient protocols, referral networks, access, and barriers/drivers
- Deliver individual performance and support area/national team performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally; attend meetings and take on projects as requested
- Exercise sound judgment and adhere to regulatory/compliance guidelines and company policies

Knowledge And Skills:
- Ability to understand and communicate complex clinical disease/product
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
- Initiative, continuous learning, and comfort working with new technologies
- Core competencies: Clinical Acumen, Selling Skills, Business Acumen, Customer Relationships
- Expertise in disease centers of care, payer landscape, and relationship/account management
- Documented sales success; strong IT capabilities (including Veeva CRM); experience in matrixed environments

Education And Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Typically 5 years of pharmaceutical field sales experience; kidney/renal disease, rare disease, or similar biotech/specialty markets (product launch experience highly desired)

Requirements:
- Must live/work within the territory (may need proximity to major airport)
- Valid driver’s license; establish customer credentials (trainings, background screens, drug testing, vaccinations)
- Travel up to 80% (10–30% overnight typical); work after hours as needed

Pay Range:
- $133,600 - $200,400
