General Summary:
The Kidney Territory Account Manager (KTAM) establishes and maintains relationships with Health Care Professionals (HCPs), develops a strategic business plan, and communicates disease and product knowledge to HCPs and centers of care. Leads engagement with nephrologists and serves as an account manager for specialty kidney clinics.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish meaningful relationships with nephrologists and related HCPs; serve as territory account manager for specialty kidney clinics.
- Develop expertise in disease/product clinical attributes and patient unmet needs to educate appropriate patient use.
- Understand physician/territory/market dynamics, stakeholder mapping, decision-maker relationship management, patient protocols, referral navigation, access, and drivers/barriers.
- Deliver territory performance and contribute to area/national team performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally; attend meetings and take on projects as requested.
- Exercise sound judgment and follow regulatory/compliance guidelines and company policies.

Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to understand/communicate complex clinical disease/product.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication; customer orientation; initiative.
- Cross-functional teamwork; continuous learning.
- Clinical acumen, selling, business acumen, customer relationships.
- Expertise in HCP/patient resources, disease centers of care, payer landscape; relationship/account management.
- IT capability (e.g., Veeva CRM). Experience in matrixed environments.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Typically 5 years field sales in pharmaceuticals; kidney/renal disease and/or rare disease/specialty biotech.
- Product launch experience highly desired.

Requirements:
- Complete trainings/background screens/drug testing/vaccinations as needed for customer credentials.
- Live/work within territory (may need proximity to major airport).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Travel up to 80%; 10–30% overnight; work after hours as needed.

Compensation/Benefits (if applicable):
- Pay range: $133,600–$200,400; eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards.
