About the Role
- Responsible for driving access, demand, and strategic growth across Takeda’s Hematology portfolio within assigned geography and key accounts; primary point of contact for complex hematology customers across multiple sites of care.
- Build trusted partnerships with Hemophilia Treatment Centers (HTCs), integrated delivery networks (IDNs), hospitals, academic institutions, and community hematology practices by aligning Takeda value propositions with clinical, operational, and business needs.

How you will contribute
- Achieve/exceed sales targets and MBO goals via disciplined territory and account execution.
- Develop and execute territory and strategic account plans (stakeholder mapping, prioritization, tactical execution).
- Serve as primary Hematology account manager; strategic intermediary with institutional and non-acute customers.
- Drive formulary/protocol/pathway access by engaging clinical, pharmacy, medical policy, operations, and financial stakeholders.
- Maintain account knowledge (reimbursement, inventory, procurement, access barriers).
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with HTCs/IDNs and other prioritized health systems; integrate access, financial, operational, and outcomes insights to identify barriers/opportunities.
- Analyze data to inform strategy and optimize resources across sites of care.
- Maintain disease-state/product expertise; identify and cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure aligned, compliant engagement; share customer insights with matrix teams and leadership.

- Responsible for U.S. Hematology portfolio performance and access in assigned geography.
- High autonomy; comply with all regulatory/compliance guidelines; balance strategic leadership with field execution.
- Collaborate across regions/KAM peers to share best practices.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS).
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals (or equivalent specialty healthcare/pharma/biotech/device experience).
- Experience in account management/territory ownership/complex healthcare customer management.
- Strong understanding of hematology, hospital, and IDN landscape.
- Experience supporting/executing product launches in specialty/institutional/complex settings (pre-launch planning, cross-functional coordination, post-launch execution).
- Experience developing/executing business and account plans aligned to corporate objectives.
- Working knowledge of payer access, reimbursement, managed care dynamics (local/regional/state).
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder influence skills.
- Reside within or near assigned geography.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience generating acute demand in the institutional setting.
- Experience with buy-and-bill and specialty pharmacy collaboration.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PharmD, or similar).
- Experience engaging C- and D-suite and senior clinical leaders.

Licenses/Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel Requirements
- Drive/fly to accounts; some overnight travel (up to 25–50%).

Training Requirements
- Complete mandatory product training with written and oral exams.
