The Journeyman Medium Voltage Electrician is responsible for operating and maintaining the site's medium voltage (480V – 13,200V) electrical distribution system. This includes regularly operating and maintaining substations, breakers, motor controls, high voltage cable and distribution pole lines. They perform preventive maintenance, modifications, and installations of company medium power distribution systems, ensuring compliance with company standards and government regulations. The electrician may also serve as a subject matter expert advisor in areas of engineering.
