Role Summary

Seeking a highly experienced IT Service Management Architect to provide strategic technical leadership and architectural oversight for the ServiceNow platform. You will design complex solutions, support platform governance, enforce best practices, and guide development teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing ServiceNow capabilities across all modules.

Responsibilities

  • Define the high-level architecture for the global ITSM landscape, orchestrating the integration of platforms with broader IT operations to ensure a cohesive strategy that meets long-term organizational goals
  • Lead the continual evolution and improvement of current ServiceNow implementation and deliver enhancements across various modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, SAM, HAM, HRSD).
  • Form part of the ServiceNow Governance Board, establishing platform governance, standards, best practices, and design patterns for ServiceNow development, configuration, and integration.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to IT Service Management Development team, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Business Stakeholders, Product Owners, and other IT teams to translate business requirements into robust and scalable technical designs.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.
  • Ensure the scalability, performance, security, and maintainability of the ServiceNow platform through proactive design and optimization.
  • Conduct technical reviews of proposed solutions and existing implementations, providing recommendations for improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including design specifications, data models, and integration diagrams.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Required: 8+ years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a ServiceNow Architect, Lead Developer, or similar senior technical role.
  • Required: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certifications.
  • Required: Multiple ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications across various modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, SAM).
  • Required: Deep expertise in designing and implementing solutions across a broad range of ServiceNow modules.
  • Required: Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and principles.
  • Required: Expertise in platform governance, security best practices, performance optimization, and high-availability design within ServiceNow.
  • Required: Proven experience with complex integrations and data architecture within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
  • Required: Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead technical discussions at all levels.
  • Required: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
  • Preferred: ITIL v4 Expert or Master certification.
  • Preferred: TOGAF or other enterprise architecture certification.
  • Preferred: Experience with large-scale ServiceNow platform upgrades and migrations.
  • Preferred: Experience with cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with ServiceNow.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools in a ServiceNow context.
  • Preferred: Experience in a global, multi-instance ServiceNow environment.
