Position Summary
- Determine strategy and roadmap for Supply business functions.
- Act as liaison/change agent/project manager between Business and IT and external partners to maintain and build supply solutions.
- Keep abreast of manufacturing, regulatory, industry, and technology changes.
Responsibilities
- Work with Supply business to identify business/IT roadmap opportunities; increase system efficiency and utilization.
- Mature IT/Supply governance; lead regular business reviews.
- Ensure super users are trained and supported; implement best practices.
- Manage license/vendor aspects for support partners and software vendors; partner with vendors on development/support and ensure issues are escalated/prioritized.
- Partner with Information Security to identify/mitigate security risks; support internal/external audits.
- Define/evolve application management approach (change management and administration).
- Lead day-to-day incident/request management across supply systems per SLA and IT best practices; maintain operations per policies/SOPs.
- Perform IT administration (super user training/support, interfaces/critical jobs, SOX and IT General Controls).
- Act as Project Manager for system improvements/enhancements; hands-on through requirements, gap analysis/blueprinting, configuration/customization, testing, documentation, deployment, and end-user training.
- Collect requirements and assess enhancement requests across Supply; design solutions and continuous process improvements.
- Create training/knowledge articles, SOPs, and design documents per Good Documentation Practices.
- Lead testing requirements/script prep and cutover/deployment plans; ensure rollout communication, training, and support readiness.
Qualifications / Requirements
- 4-year Bachelor’s in Business/Engineering or Supply/Operations (focus on IT).
- Pharmaceuticals/Life Sciences/Manufacturing industry experience.
- At least 7 years IT management of Supply function applications/processes in a pharmaceutical/regulatory environment.
- Minimum 10 years SAP MM, SD, PP, WMS with integration knowledge across SAP FICO and reporting.
- At least 3 years leadership/supervisory experience.
- Experience in SAP “Global Template” environments with multinational manufacturing/subcontracting and intercompany processes.
Skills / Tools
- Windows, MS Office, ValGenesis, ServiceNow.
- SAP: MM, SD, PP-PI, WMS, IBP, BI, and related supply/manufacturing solutions; Power BI; Veeva QMS; MES.
- Knowledge of SAP SCM (APO-DP/SNP, Flexible Planning) and SAP IBP Demand/Supply desired.
- Knowledge of MES/Quality/Serialization systems (TraceLink) well regarded.

- Starting salary: $139,200–$155,000 USD.
