IT Service Technician

Role: Local Client Facing IT Field Technician supporting Labcorp's diagnostic and laboratory operations. Objectives: Install, troubleshoot, and maintain IT hardware, networking, and proprietary software for healthcare facilities and internal teams. Responsibilities: perform hardware setup, troubleshoot Cisco networking devices, support internet sources, configure proprietary applications, and provide onsite and remote client training. Manage inventory, coordinate with vendors, and support various IT projects, with a focus on healthcare environments like labs and hospitals. Requirements: High school diploma; 1+ years in IT support; valid driver’s license; ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work from ladders. Preferred: Associate's in IT; 1+ years in network environments and field tech roles; project management and strong communication skills. High-Value: client-facing, field support in healthcare settings, deployment of networking and proprietary healthcare software, approx. 10% travel including overnight; service in the Atlanta/North Georgia area; support for hospital labs, diagnostic centers, and internal operations. WorkSetup: office in Tucker, GA with some WFH flexibility; travel required.
