Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end commerce and ordering program: punchout, direct eCommerce, and distributor order channels.
- Enrich product data and improve content delivery mechanisms across commerce channels.
- Define and drive a multi-year roadmap aligned to growth, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with Channel Management, Sales, Marketing, and IT to prioritize initiatives using value/risk/customer impact.
- Establish program governance, reporting, and communication cadence.
- Improve distributor ordering (bulk uploads, integrations, automation) and resolve friction across the Find/Decide/Buy journey.
- Ensure accurate, complete, optimized product data is delivered across channels; support content syndication, punchout enablement, and customer-specific purchasing flows.
- Drive integrations across eCommerce (e.g., Drupal Commerce), ERP (e.g., D365/AX), and CRM (e.g., Salesforce); translate business needs into technical requirements; ensure scalable, reliable performance.
- Lead cross-functional delivery (IT, Channel Mgmt, Marketing, CX, Finance, Sales), including milestones, testing, validation, and change management.
Qualifications
Required
- High School diploma/certification (10+ years) or Associate degree (8β10 years) or Bachelorβs degree (5β8 years).
- Proven experience managing B2B commerce ecosystems (punchout and distributor channels).
- Strong order management workflow and pricing knowledge.
- Enterprise systems/integration experience (ERP, CRM, eCommerce).
- Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional programs; strong analytical/problem-solving/communication skills.
Preferred
- Life sciences/biotech/regulated industry experience.
- Familiarity with Drupal Commerce, Salesforce, D365/AX (or similar).
- Global commerce considerations (VAT, multi-entity, regional differences).
- Experience with search, product data, and catalog management in a scientific product context.
