Role Summary
Senior IT Program Manager responsible for defining requirements, prioritizing IT programs, and delivering projects on time and within budget. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with internal clients and external contributors, and collaborate with business and scientific staff across multiple disciplines. Location: Seattle, WA.
Responsibilities
- Determine key requirements for development of new IT programs
- Determine scope and priority of IT programs
- Lead teams to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget
- Coordinate work with internal clients and external contributors
- Collaborate with business and scientific staff across multiple disciplines to accomplish goals
- Consistent reporting on status of multiple projects as well as progress towards IT goals
Qualifications
- Required: Experience with documenting requirements, approaches, and solutions for IT projects
- Required: Vendor management experience, including routine communications and requests for proposals
- Required: Ability to build IT program management road maps for multiple parallel projects
- Required: Work with scientific, business, and IT teams to set priorities
- Required: Strong focus on quality and attention to detail
- Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Required: Effective task/time management organizational skills
- Required: Strong drive toward problem-solving and innovation
Education
- B.S. or equivalent years of work experience in computer science or related field
