IT Manager, Infrastructure (Seattle, WA)

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain virtualized environments (performance, resource allocation)
- Oversee network architecture; implement security and firewall configurations to protect company data
- Administer and optimize storage solutions to ensure data integrity and availability
- Manage cloud infrastructure (deployment, monitoring, maintenance of cloud-based apps/services)
- Ensure IT operations comply with industry regulations; FDA CFR 21 Part 11 essential
- Lead and mentor IT professionals
- Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee service delivery
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for business continuity

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science/IT (or equivalent relevant work experience)
- 5+ years IT infrastructure management experience (preferably biotech/regulated)

Required/Preferred Skills:
- Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V
- Network/firewall security (e.g., Aruba, Cisco, Foritnet, Palo Alto, or similar)
- Storage (SAN, NAS) and cloud services (AWS, Azure)
- Compliance familiarity (e.g., GDPR; FDA CFR 21 Part 11)
- Leadership, communication, project management

Compensation/Benefits:
- Base pay range: $145,000–$167,000
