Role Summary

IT Lead, Product Analyst with a focus on Commercial Content Management review, approval and capabilities that enable secure storage, structured metadata tagging, efficient content retrieval, and compliant promotional content workflows. The position leads business demand and process analysis, shapes agile user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria, and collaborates with regional and global Product Owners to align backlogs with business objectives. Primary location: Titusville, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Understand user needs and translate them into detailed requirements for both Regional & Global Squads.
  • Build use cases, write, manage, and clarify user stories, visualization, and process flows.
  • Explain how requirements may be implemented from a functional standpoint and drive/improve user experience.
  • Stay 2-3 sprints ahead of squad and ensure each feature has a clear definition of done; ensure each feature level deliverable is aligned to a definition of readiness to enter sprint.
  • Communicate vision to developers and testers.
  • May help write UAT scripts and participate in User Acceptance Testing as needed.
  • Document confirmed business processes to serve as reference for development and IT support.
  • Apply business process improvement methods for optimization.
  • In partnership with the Product Owners (PO), maintain a deep understanding of the business objectives to ensure that the squadโ€™s backlog priorities are aligned with business / Group needs.
  • Manage regional & global platform level initiatives like access management automation, review AI and other platform level innovations.
  • Track metrics and build reports to measure progress.
  • Help manage dependencies with other squads, working closely with squad PO, peer POs and the Product Manager.
  • Apply compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, ensures SDLC documentation; system configuration and compliance activities are up to date as required.
  • Understand the Content Management ecosystem of IT systems that the business uses.
  • Manage software lifecycle in configuration management system.
  • Support and/or facilitate system demos via inspect and adapt workshops as needed.
  • Stay up to date with current trends, best practices, and new technologies including the Veeva Promo mats & Adobe AEM/DAM roadmaps.
  • Use analytics techniques for feature prioritization.

Qualifications

  • Required: 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Required: Demonstrated experience in business analysis and project management delivering medium- and large-scale projects in hybrid cloud / managed service models from concept through delivery and operations.
  • Required: Ability to effectively communicate across teams and stakeholders and to inspire trust in vision, strategic goals & aspirations.
  • Required: Ability to think creatively about where business initiatives drive technology evolution and to break-down processes and reimagine enabling technology capabilities with stakeholders.
  • Required: Experience with Agile methodology and strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle Management model and documentation.
  • Required: Self-starter with strong teamwork abilities and abilities to shape/manage complexity.
  • Preferred: Experience with pharmaceutical industry and deep understanding of regulatory requirements and its operating environment.
  • Preferred: Experience implementing or supporting Commercial IT technologies in Copy Approval, Digital Asset Management, Digital Marketing & CRM solutions.
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of technology products like Veeva Vault & Adobe AEM/DAM solutions.
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of Content Management Systems.
  • Preferred: Capable of taking a โ€œhands-on approachโ€ to experiment and try things if needed.
  • Preferred: Certifications in Business Analysis and/or Project and/or Product Management areas or relevant experience.
  • Preferred: Experience working with cross-regional/global IT and cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred: Demonstrated ability to apply IT knowledge to solving business problems, excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, exceptional service orientation, strong negotiating skills.

Education

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
