Description
Wave Life Sciences is seeking an IT Lab and GxP Systems Support Co-op to support IT systems in a regulated laboratory environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day IT support for laboratory and GxP-regulated systems, supporting Wave IT projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with IT Technical Specialists, Business Analysts, and IT Operations to deliver technical solutions.
- Manage and resolve support tickets using the FreshService helpdesk platform; ensure accurate documentation for knowledge sharing.
- Create and maintain Knowledge Base (KB) articles for system upkeep and user education.
- Receive hands-on training, mentorship, and guidance from senior IT team members.
- Communicate effectively with lab users and IT team members about progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Learn and apply best practices for supporting systems in a regulated (GxP) environment.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Enrolled in a bachelorβs or masterβs degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field at an accredited college/university.
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Key Skills:
- Solid understanding of Windows operating systems and basic IT troubleshooting.
- Highly organized; able to work independently and in a team.
- Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
