Role Summary
IT Lab and GxP Systems Support Co-op (Spring 2026) β Join a regulated laboratory IT environment to support and maintain computer systems used in labs and GxP-regulated environments. Work with IT Technical Specialists and Business Analysts to troubleshoot issues, manage support requests, and contribute to documentation for system upkeep and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support for laboratory and GxP-regulated systems, contributing to ongoing IT projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with IT Technical Specialists, Business Analysts, and the IT Operations team to deliver technical solutions.
- Manage and resolve support tickets using the FreshService platform, ensuring accurate documentation for knowledge sharing.
- Receive hands-on training, mentorship, and guidance from senior IT team members to support learning and professional development.
- Communicate effectively with lab users, IT team members, and mentors regarding task progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of Knowledge Base articles to support system upkeep and user education.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Learn and apply best practices for supporting systems in a regulated (GxP) environment.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a bachelorβs or masterβs degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field at an accredited college or university.
- Solid understanding of Windows operating systems and basic IT troubleshooting.
- Highly organized with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
