The Position
Primary responsibility is to provide project management services for new IT & automation projects & processes for computer systems, facility, utility, equipment, and processes associated with the production of insulin products.
- Refine business case; establish and communicate quantifiable project benefits
- Refine/clarify project scope through early analysis with subject matter experts
- Develop goals, time/resource estimates, bid packages, and drive vendor selection; work with procurement on project contracts
- Financial accountability: create/manage purchase orders, invoicing, cost forecasting
- Monitor/control quality, schedule, and budget; manage/coordinate contract and internal resources
- Allocate required resources/competences with Line of Business (LoB) management; negotiate project resources
- Report project performance; manage change control strategy and implementation; qualification/validation
- Archive key project and test documentation per good documentation practices; align with global programs and other site projects

Essential Functions
- Leads project activities (small/medium projects); creates master plans; develops timelines/resource estimates; completes projects within schedule/budget; ensures compliant validation and commissioning
- Leads cross-functional teams to ensure support systems are in place
- Change control: performs assessments; ensures compliance with FDA/EU/NN regulations; leads improvement efforts and cross-functional teams; maintains safe work environment

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or applicable technical degree (or equivalent experience) preferred
- Minimum 2 years project management/support/change management experience in GxP Production with emphasis on IT and/or Manufacturing Automation required
- Preferred: excellent technical writing/oral communication; facilitation/presentation; project leadership/negotiation/conflict resolution; interaction with all org levels; autonomy; analytical/organizational/multi-tasking; understanding of infrastructure services and manufacturing automation; expert cGMP documentation/change control; expert validation/system development life cycle knowledge; basic MS Word/PowerPoint/Excel; demonstrated expertise planning/organizing and revising work plans.
