Role Summary

The IT Analyst – Manufacturing and Quality role focuses on delivering, maintaining, and supporting IT solutions for FUME and HSE to drive business value. The role identifies system requirements, recommends enhancements, and acts as a thought leader to evolve IT standards, adopt new technologies, and improve processes within manufacturing and quality functions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners to proactively seek opportunities to deliver business value.
  • Design, develop, implement, improve, and maintain IT tools used by FUME and HSE teams, including configuring tools and managing their interactions to support business processes.
  • Lead definition or design reviews, gather requirements, and provide business process subject-matter expertise to developers to ensure traceability.
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of user acceptance testing and acceptance criteria to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
  • Evaluate the application lifecycle against the solution architecture roadmap and make retirement/replacement recommendations as needed.
  • Ensure incident, problem, configuration, and change/release management align with business needs and quality/compliance standards.
  • Lead, manage, and participate in small projects, quantify resources, evaluate technical options, and deliver results on time.
  • Support business in a technical capacity with application and platform configuration, data accessibility and integration design, and BI reporting.
  • Leverage an agile mindset for the entire solution lifecycle, including designing, implementing, automating, modernizing, maintaining, and optimizing solutions.
  • Stay updated with manufacturing and Industry 4.0 technologies to provide insights and recommendations to customers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related technical field or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years' experience in IT and/or Engineering.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.

  • Knowledge of or experience with distributed solutions, COTS, SaaS, APIs, and business intelligence.
  • Ability to review and design data integrations and derive insights from data.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently, taking initiative to identify and solve problems.
  • Ability to plan short programs and projects at a task level that can be executed successfully.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills with a drive to deliver.
  • Ability to influence others to adopt new viewpoints or concepts.
  • Knowledge of solution delivery and service support/management processes.
  • Experience in IT solution development, business analyst roles (coding, validating, testing, implementing).
  • Experience working in a large, multicultural organization.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure), advanced data analytics, modern data platforms, with proficiency in Power BI and familiarity with data fabric / data bricks architectures.
