IOP Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist providing blood collection and specimen processing services in a clinical laboratory setting. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws, process specimens for testing, accurately enter patient data, and deliver excellent customer service. Also includes administrative duties and potential travel to additional sites. Requirements: high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or relevant training, and at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience; preferred: 1+ years' experience. High-Value: clinical diagnostics, blood collection, specimen processing, patient interaction, adherence to safety and quality standards. Work setup: on-site in Baton Rouge, LA, with possible travel; full vaccination against COVID-19 required.
