IOP Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist responsible for blood collection and specimen processing in clinical settings. Primary objectives include providing accurate blood draws, maintaining specimen integrity, and delivering exceptional patient service. Responsibilities encompass venipuncture, specimen handling, data entry, billing, and administrative tasks, with flexibility to travel to additional sites. Requirements: High school diploma or GED; phlebotomy certification or equivalent training, or 3+ months experience; proven customer service skills; ability to work independently; reliable transportation; pass a color blindness test; fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Preferred qualifications: 1+ year of phlebotomy experience. High-value biopharma specifics: role in diagnostic testing, specimen collection for clinical and legal testing (drug screens, paternity, alcohol), and potential to support research or clinical trial activities. Work setup: on-site in Selma, AL, with possible travel to other sites; schedule Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm, Fridays 7:30am-12:00pm.
