IOP Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist supporting Labcorp's diagnostic testing services, responsible for specimen collection, processing, and patient interaction. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws across all age groups, collect specimens for various tests, accurately document patient data, process billing, and ensure specimen integrity. Also provides excellent customer service and completes administrative tasks; may travel between sites. Qualifications: high school diploma or GED; phlebotomy certification or 3+ months experience, with preferred 1+ year. Skills: strong communication, customer service excellence, ability to work independently or in a team, reliable transportation, flexibility for overtime; pass color blindness test. High-Value: clinical specimen collection, diagnostic testing, patient interaction, optional participation in incentive bonus plan. Work setup: in lab or client sites, Monday–Friday, with travel as needed; fully vaccinated for COVID-19 required.
