IOP Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist responsible for blood collection, specimen processing, and providing customer service at Labcorp's Hazel Green AL site. Objectives: perform venipuncture for diverse patient groups, ensure specimen integrity, and maintain accurate data and logs. Responsibilities include specimen collection for clinical tests (drug screens, paternity, alcohol), data entry, billing, and specimen preparation; also includes administrative duties and travel between sites. Requirements: high school diploma or GED; phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency, or 3+ months of experience; COVID-19 vaccination proof. Preferred: 1+ year of phlebotomy experience, proven customer service skills, strong communication, ability to work independently, reliable transportation, flexibility for overtime, pass color blindness test. High-value: clinical specimen collection, patient interaction, compliance with safety and privacy standards, and potential participation in performance incentives.
