Role: Phlebotomist supporting Labcorpβs diagnostic testing operations, primarily performing blood collections and specimen processing. Responsibilities: conduct venipuncture and capillary draws for all age groups, process specimens, ensure accurate data entry, handle billing and payments, and deliver exceptional patient service. Also includes administrative duties and potential travel to additional sites. Requirements: high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or relevant training, or 3+ months of experience; ability to pass a color blindness test; reliable transportation; flexible with overtime; fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Preferred: 1+ year of phlebotomy experience. High-Value: role involves specimen collection for diagnostic testing, possibly including drug screens, paternity, and alcohol tests; work in clinical or client settings; requires strong communication and customer service skills; may involve working under minimal supervision. Work setup: on-site in Ocean Springs MS with potential travel; schedule Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm.
