What You'll Do
- Support the Investment team in managing the company’s buy-side investment pipeline.
- Maintain and update the project database (opportunity status, counterparty records, transaction history).
- Build, maintain, and refine Excel financial models (royalty/asset/business valuations using NPV/rNPV, deal structure modeling, scenario & sensitivity analysis).
- Conduct data analysis for investment forecasting and competitive benchmarking.
- Assist with scientific and financial due diligence on licensing and equity investment opportunities.
- Prepare due diligence findings presentations.
- Develop and maintain presentation materials (investment presentations, opportunity assessments, deal summaries).
- Coordinate with internal teams (Technical, Legal, Finance, Operational) for due diligence and transaction execution.
- Monitor the competitive investment landscape and compile regular briefings.
- Support administrative aspects (scheduling, document management, logistical coordination).
- Take on additional analytical/project responsibilities as directed.
What You'll Bring
- 2–5 years in investment banking/corporate development/private equity/venture capital/management consulting (or comparable life sciences/healthcare analytical role); exceptional recent graduates with relevant internships considered.
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, finance, business, or quantitative discipline.
- Life sciences background (biology/biochemistry/pharmacology or related).
- Exposure to equity investment/VC/PE/asset valuation processes (strong asset).
- Advanced financial modeling skills; scientific literacy for drug development evaluation.
- Strong project management, analytical/data synthesis, and written/verbal communication.
- Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office.
