Role Summary
Intern - R&D Global Statistics and Data Science. 12-week program in West Chester, PA focusing on real-world data, statistical methods, and RWE initiatives within the R&D Global Statistics and Data Science department.
Responsibilities
- Gain in-depth insight into the R&D Global Statistics and Data Science department and Real-World Evidence (RWE) group.
- Work on diverse projects applying statistical methods and real-world data to generate insights and evidence for understanding diseases and improving patient outcomes, under the guidance of a mentor.
- Contribute to the development of concepts and initiatives within the RWE Statistics business unit.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Biostatistics or Statistics.
- Fundamental understanding of statistical concepts and modeling (e.g., regression, survival analysis, multiple imputation, machine learning).
- Experience or familiarity with real-world data (RWD) and/or clinical trial data is preferred.
