Intern - Purification Process Development

Role Summary

This 12-week internship provides hands-on experience in purification process development within Biologics CMC, contributing to high-impact projects and professional growth. You will work onsite with a mentor and colleagues on daily tasks and diverse projects, and you will participate in the development of concepts and initiatives within the Drug Substance Development unit. Length is a minimum of 12 weeks (mid-May through mid-August), with a 40-hour work week onsite in West Chester, PA.

Responsibilities

• During the 12-week program, you will gain in-depth insight into the Biologics CMC department.
• Supported by a mentor and experienced colleagues, you will be directly involved in daily tasks and assigned to diverse projects.
• You will also play an important role in the development of concepts and initiatives within the Drug Substance Development business unit.

Qualifications

• Fundamental understanding and experience in basic laboratory techniques, data recording, and working with scientific equipment under supervision (preferred).
• Within commutable distance to West Chester, PA (required).

Education

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering, biotechnology, chemistry, biology, or related field.
