Role Summary
Intern – Production, based in Davie, FL, for a 13-week program. You will gain in-depth exposure to the Production department, work with a mentor and experienced colleagues on real projects, and contribute to concepts and initiatives while leading an innovative project that integrates traditional manufacturing concepts with new technologies.
Responsibilities
- During the 13 week program, you will gain in-depth insight into the Production department.
- Supported by a mentor and experienced colleagues, you will be directly involved in our daily business and be assigned tasks within diverse projects.
- You will also play an important role in the development of concepts and initiatives.
- You will lead an innovative project aimed to combine traditional manufacturing concepts and fundamentals with new technologies available to you to successfully yield a significant and impactful project that can be quantified in terms of contribution to the Production Department but also look very well on your updated CV.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Mechanical, Biomedical or similar program of Engineering or Sciences
- Fundamental understanding and experience in Design tools such as Auto-CAD
- Fundamental understanding and experience in Software and AI applications
- Currently reside in commutable distance to Davie, FL
Skills
- Design tools proficiency (e.g., AutoCAD)
- Software and AI applications knowledge
Education
- Enrollment in Mechanical, Biomedical or related Engineering/Science program
