Intern - Critical Reagents

Responsibilities

• During the 12-week program, you will gain in-depth insight into the Critical Reagents group within the Specialty Bioanalytics department.
• Supported by a mentor and experienced colleagues, you will be directly involved in our daily business and be assigned tasks within diverse projects.
• You will gain hands on experience in protein production and characterization techniques to support generation of reagents to be used in bioanalytical methods.
• In addition to standard procedures, you will be involved in testing and troubleshooting processes with the goal of maximizing efficiency and reproducibility in reagent production.
• You will also play an important role in the development of concepts and initiatives within the Global R&D business unit.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Bachelor‚Äôs program of Immunology, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacology, or a related field
• Fundamental understanding and experience in:
  • Cell and molecular biology
  • Protein chemistry
  • Cell culture
• Able to work collaboratively in a diverse environment with good communication and interpersonal skills

• Location: West Chester, PA, USA
• Length: minimum of 12 weeks (TBD during mid-May through mid-August)
• Schedule: You must be available to work a 40-hour work week (onsite) for 12 weeks
