Role Summary
Intern - Critical Reagents
Responsibilities
- During the 12-week program, you will gain in-depth insight into the Critical Reagents group within the Specialty Bioanalytics department.
- Supported by a mentor and experienced colleagues, you will be directly involved in our daily business and be assigned tasks within diverse projects.
- You will gain hands on experience in protein production and characterization techniques to support generation of reagents to be used in bioanalytical methods.
- In addition to standard procedures, you will be involved in testing and troubleshooting processes with the goal of maximizing efficiency and reproducibility in reagent production.
- You will also play an important role in the development of concepts and initiatives within the Global R&D business unit.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in BachelorβΓΓ΄s program of Immunology, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacology, or a related field
- Fundamental understanding and experience in:
- Cell and molecular biology
- Protein chemistry
- Cell culture
- Able to work collaboratively in a diverse environment with good communication and interpersonal skills

- Location: West Chester, PA, USA
- Length: minimum of 12 weeks (TBD during mid-May through mid-August)
- Schedule: You must be available to work a 40-hour work week (onsite) for 12 weeks
