      Role Summary
 Intern - Analytical Development. 12-week paid internship in West Chester, PA focused on exploring advanced analytical techniques for characterizing protein biotherapeutics within the Analytical Development team of Biologic CMC.
 
 Responsibilities
 
  - Gain in-depth insight into the Analytical Development department in Biologic CMC.
 
  - Work with a mentor and experienced colleagues on diverse projects, contributing to daily activities.
 
  - Perform lab-based work involving electrophoretic and chromatographic separations of novel protein biotherapeutics.
 
  - Explore new CE instrumentation for charge variant analysis and evaluate affinity-CE methods for bispecific antibody programs; develop HPLC separations with specialized detection for antibody interaction studies.
 
  - Utilize statistical approaches to develop high-quality methods for upcoming pipeline projects.
 
  - Gain hands-on experience with multiple analytical tools (CE, HPLC, spectroscopy, etc.) and prepare a final presentation of work.
 
  - Contribute to concepts and initiatives within the BioCMC business unit.
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
  - Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
 
  - Fundamental understanding of general laboratory and analytical techniques, scientific writing, and a desire to learn.
 
 
 
 Skills
 
  - Analytical techniques and laboratory instrumentation (CE, HPLC, spectroscopy).
 
  - Data recording and presentation of results.
 
 
 
 Education
 
  - Undergraduate program in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field (current enrollment).
