Role Summary
Intern - Analytical Development supporting a cross-functional project to advance Host Cell Protein (HCP) detection and quantitation using LC-MS/MS. The 12-week, onsite internship provides hands-on lab experience within the Analytical Development department, with mentorship and exposure to real projects. Location: West Chester, PA. Duration: 12 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 7, 2026). Schedule: 40 hours per week onsite.
Responsibilities
- During the 12-week program, you will gain in-depth insight into the Analytical Development department.
- Supported by a mentor and experienced colleagues, you will be directly involved in daily tasks and be assigned to diverse projects.
- The intern position is a lab-based role working with a mentor to prepare and analyze samples by LC-MS/MS and ELISA methods.
- Contributes to completion of routine scientific/technical tasks with the support of a mentor.
- Presentation of work in a group setting is expected.
- Maintains a laboratory notebook and adheres to safety, compliance, and corporate regulations.
- You will also play an important role in the development of concepts and initiatives within the BioCMC business unit.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program of Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
- Fundamental understanding and experience in basic laboratory/analytical techniques, pipetting, buffer preparation, and lab safety.
