Role: Instrument Technician supporting process instrumentation maintenance at Lilly's new Medicine Foundry, focused on equipment calibration, troubleshooting, and reliability to ensure continuous operation of clinical trial manufacturing. Responsibilities: perform preventive and corrective maintenance on instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, pH, conductivity); support initial calibrations; troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic systems; operate test equipment; ensure compliance with cGMP and safety standards; maintain documentation in GMARS; support equipment qualification (IQ/OQ). Requirements: high school diploma; 5+ years of instrumentation and calibration experience in FDA-regulated industry; strong troubleshooting skills in electrical systems; proficiency with calibration tools and test equipment. Preferred: ability to work independently, team collaboration, problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS (GMARS). High-value specifics: manufacturing support for clinical trial medicines, cGMP compliance, shift work (2-2-3 days/nights), temporary location in Carmel, Indiana, with eventual permanent site in Lebanon, Indiana; overtime during peak calibration periods. Collaboration: work within manufacturing operations, safety, quality, and maintenance teams. Work setup: shift-based, on-site at the Lilly Medicine Foundry.
