Role Summary
Inside Sales Representative role responsible for planning and executing sales activities for an assigned territory to meet or exceed KPIs and quarterly sales targets. The role includes developing pre-call strategies, building strong relationships with customers and cross-functional teams, applying in-depth product knowledge, and using CRM and productivity software to manage data and communications. The position emphasizes ongoing learning to improve sales impact, communication, and product knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Develops strategic business plans for assigned territory that are consistent with sales plans, strategies, and objectives.
- Meets and exceeds key performance indicator expectations while demonstrating excellent listening and verbal communication skills.
- Achieves quarterly sales goals with aligned targets.
- Develops pre-call strategy for aligned targets.
- Demonstrates success in influencing and negotiation skills.
- Learns and applies in-depth product knowledge, including information about relevant disease states, and communicates this information to customers to support informed decision making.
- Develops and maintains strong, collaborative relationships with customers, coworkers, and colleagues across different teams and leadership levels within the organization. This involves fostering open communication, building trust, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of goals.
- Effectively utilizes software platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Zoom and CRM software to complete daily tasks. This includes managing data, coordinating communications, and leveraging these tools to enhance productivity and ensure timely completion of work.
- Proactively pursues continuous learning and professional development on sales impact, communication, and product knowledge.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Required: BS/BA degree; Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook; strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent listening and comprehension abilities; English proficiency required.
- Preferred: 1–2 years of sales experience; knowledge of professional sales, territory management and marketing of pharmaceutical products.
Additional Requirements
- Periodic travel (approximately 10%) may be required.
- Physical demands: typically sitting at a desk or table; occasional standing, walking, or stooping.
