Innovation Postdoctoral Fellow, Lysosomal Lipid Biology and Neurodegeneration

Role: Postdoctoral Fellow in biomedical research within Novartis Discovery Sciences, focusing on organelle biology in neurodegenerative disease. Objectives: leverage experimental and computational approaches to study neuronal health, lipidomics, and multi-omics data integration for biomarker discovery and mechanistic insights. Responsibilities: design and execute studies using human neuronal models, generate and analyze lipidomics datasets via LC-MS, develop computational workflows for data interpretation, collaborate across neuroscience, biology, chemistry, and data science teams, develop assays related to organelle function, engage with academic partners, and contribute to publications. Requirements: PhD in neuroscience, cell biology, biochemistry, pharmacology, analytical chemistry, or bioinformatics; experience in complex biological data analysis; effective team collaboration and communication skills. Preferred: experience with mass spectrometry-based omics, neurodegenerative disease models, and computational biology.
