Internal Job Title: Innovation Postdoctoral Fellow
Location: Cambridge, MA onsite (no relocation support). Full-time training position up to three years; no visa sponsorship (must be authorized to work in the US for the 3-year duration). Start date: September 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop novel analytical methods and translate computational insights into wet-lab assay development.
- Own the full data analysis workflow: problem definition, data collection, cleaning/wrangling, exploratory/confirmatory analyses, data visualization and storytelling.
- Develop molecular biology tools.
- Perform and design cell culture experiments (including iPSC-derived relevant cell models).
- Innovate and drive forward-thinking research; work in a multidisciplinary, collaborative environment.
- Build relationships with collaborators/stakeholders; present findings internally and externally; stay current on research trends.
Essential Requirements
- PhD (or equivalent) in a quantitative science (e.g., biology, medicinal science, computational biology or related), completed prior to start date (intended for scientists immediately post-PhD; PhD conferred in 2026 only).
- Record of scientific achievement (publications/presentations/patents or equivalent).
- Strong computational biology background with omics expertise (e.g., RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, proteomics, protein networks).
- Wet-lab experience (e.g., cloning, western blot, qPCR, assay development/experimental validation).
- Cell culture experience.
- Programming experience (Python or R).
- Strong problem-solving/troubleshooting, independent and collaborative matrix work, and excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
Desirable Requirements
- State-of-the-art AI knowledge; machine learning for omics; integrate multiple data modalities; high-performance computing experience; iPSC-derived model/cell line engineering.
